AUTUMN 2007
*PRESS RELEASE*
DAN CAMPANELLI KICKS OFF THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH 2nd ANNUAL SHOW IN FLEMINGTON

The Gallery at Art of Framing, 152 Main Street in Historic Flemington is proud to once again host an art show and print signing this November with well-know watercolor artist Dan Campanelli.  Dan's realist landscape images have been have been in print world-wide since 1986, and his depictions of western New Jersey landmarks, old mills and historic homes grace many walls.

The public is invited to see Dan's latest body of work on Saturday November 3rd and Sunday November 4th, 2007. He will be available from 1 to 4 pm on both days to sign and personalize his open and limited-edition prints at what has become an annual event.

“Milky Way Farm,” © an open-edition print just released this fall by New York Graphic Society, is Dan Campanelli’s tribute to all the beautiful farmsteads that remain in the Delaware Valley.  This landscaped evokes the dramatic textures of winter: cold stone, crumbling stucco, weathered clapboard, and the remains of a harvest smothered under layers of icy snow.

Exclusive to the Gallery at Art of Framing is Dan’s latest limited-edition print, “Quakertown Meeting – Inner Light, Outer Beauty.” © Released earlier year, proceeds will benefit the Friends Meeting in Quakertown.

The artist’s portfolio of open and limed edition prints will be available in all price ranges, and there will be some rare out-of-print images as well.

Come meet the artist on these two days and view his extraordinary collection of artwork.

"Dan at work painting "New Jersey Well House "

Dan has been painting Hunterdon, Bucks, Morris, and Warren Counties, the Delaware Valley and Historic sights all over the Northeast US for over 30 years.  His passion for Historic Preservation is seen on the surface of his illustration boards.  Local mills, stately trees, venerable old stone buildings, seasonal stories and the occasional addition of domesticated animals are subjects portrayed by this versatile artist.

When you meet Dan and his wife, Marty, you understand why your emotions are carried away with his historic landscape images.  Their life is woven into the fabric of their collections of antique needlework, pewter, pottery and furnishings.  There is a familiarity that one feels with all of his images; often resulting in a need to know, “where is that?”  No matter where the fieldstone or clapboard edifice originated, the viewer feels a comfort level usually resulting in the framing and hanging of Dan’s work over a mantle, sofa or headboard.
